My life works better when you do what you deeply want to do, not what I want you to do. Your life works better when I do what I deeply want to do, not what you want me to do. Especially when it’s challenging to see it.
When we all take the responsibility of doing what we want and know to do without being stopped by perceived opinions of others, and we honor others and support them in doing the same for themselves, things fall into place and life starts to work better.
The lower part of ourselves loves to believe that the world will work better if we can control others and everyone does what we want. The problem is, we weren’t designed to thrive this way. We were designed as individuals, needing to express and honor authentic choice in order to be truly happy and be who we are meant to be. The world works best when when we release control of others and step into a space of allowing.
Next time you find yourself worrying that things will fall apart in a negative way because you can’t control another, remember that it will always work our better when the other person truly chooses what is right for her. Even if better looks different than what you expected.
