We can read the books, do the courses, listen to the podcasts, scour the blogs, be coached by our mentor or teacher, meditate, set intentions, or journal, and all of it only matters if we are willing to do the work when the challenge in our life presents itself. And do it in the moment it matters, which is now.
In the end, all of the books, courses, teachings, and personal work teach us the same thing- that we already have what we need within ourselves. Spending time in personal work and self-help can feel useful, and only if we actually use what we learn. This does not mean at all that we need to be perfect, it means we need to be practicing (doing). When we hesitate in the moment it matters, we are essentially wasting all of the time we have invested in ourselves.
Today is the day. We can make the choice to apply what we know. To be courageous and take responsibility. We have done enough work. We don't need more knowledge or more time to go and do the thing that matters. We already have everything we need to know. Including how to respond when things don't go perfectly.
