Thinking puts us into the future.
Thoughts happen when we go to the past.
We typically try to know what to do by thinking about what could happen, or processing what has happened. This doesn't work because it blocks us from truly listening to what it is time for. The only place we can ever know what to do is the now, so if we are thinking, or in thoughts, we can’t know what to do.
We perform best and make our best choices when we land in the now and listen. You can’t listen to something that hasn’t happened yet, and you can’t listen to something that no longer exists. When you allow your brain to do what it is designed to do and simply listen to what is happening with curiosity and commitment, you will know what to do.
